  42. also be asked to select a password of 3-8 characters.  Upper and lower case are the same and symbols count (e.g."*" or "=").  A common error both for passwords and names is to let an empty space slip in.
  43.      Anyone first logging on is allowed 10 minutes to look around a bit.  But before doing so you should immediately select the validation choice from the main menu, and send the Sysop advice you want to be validated.  You will need to provide your name and membership number along with your address and telephone number.  Aliases or "Handles" are not allowed.  You will be validated as soon as the information can be verified.

  48. provides a host (pun intended) of improved capabilities which will make the Sysop's life a bit easier.  After going through the pain and frustration of the change, Michael is probably gritting his teeth at that statement.  There sure are some nice changes for the user.  Here are a few of them:
  49. ‚Ä¢  1K block downloads are supported.  This improves the speed of downloading files.
  50. ‚Ä¢  A download command is available directly from lists or searches for files.
  51. ‚Ä¢  There are now 10 lines of text description available to describe files.  The description can be edited.  This will provide the ability to have better file descriptions.
